Start accepting DAFpay

Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are one of the fastest-growing sources of charitable dollars. Now available for GoFundMe Pro customers upon request, DAFpay gives nonprofits a new way to accept DAFs directly through campaign checkout.

Through an integration with Chariot, DAFpay allows donors to use their existing DAFs as a payment option for one-time gifts. Once enabled, you can manage DAFpay at the campaign level, turning it on or off as needed.

How it works

• To enable DAFpay, your organization must first set up an account with Chariot.
• Once enabled, you can add or remove DAFpay as a payment option at the campaign level.
• DAFpay will not be presented as an option for recurring gifts.
• Donor fee coverage and employer match are not available when a donor uses DAFpay.

Note: Chariot charges its own DAF processing fee, which they set and invoice independently. During beta, GoFundMe does not charge an additional fee for DAFpay. Pricing and fee structures may change.

Chariot manages its onboarding process independently. GoFundMe does not control Chariot’s onboarding requirements or timeline.
